Torn between two loves.

I can’t stop thinking about knitting socks.

I’m also obsessed with knitting Log Cabin blankets.

I wish there was some way I could knit on both at once!

Our little introduction to winter is over and my feet are happy once again:

Here’s what Pikes Peak looks like from where I live:

Doesn’t it look like you could take that dirt road all the way to the mountain?

You can have two loves, it is ok in knitting! Monogamy is not a requirement!! Or I would be kicked outta the club!

    Love the mountain shots!!

Do you think it’s possible to get the flu/cold over the internet??? Last night I took NyQuil, I just couldn’t take it anymore and was out like a light until 1 AM, when my eyes popped open. I feel so crappy and poor doggies don’t know what’s going on. Every time I see your LC, I feel bad, because the promised blanket for my son is almost done, but not quite.

The sock obsession I can relate to. Not the blankets, though if I ever tried them out I might become addicted too.

I think it’s great that you have so much interest in two projects. I hate those times when I’m burnt out of every project that I have on the needles… so I think it’s nice when there’s so much energy and desire for multiple projects, isn’t it?

Oh, could that blanket be more beautiful?!

You can’t multiply your hands, so you have to increase the hours you have to knit. My solution? Give up sleeping. That’s what I’ve done. It makes you less efficient, but gives you more hours to be so.

The other (irresponsible) thing I do to find extra knitting time? I knit at red lights. Really. Sometimes I nap at red lights (see above.)

    Nice socks, too!
