Earlier today I was sorting my stash in preparation for its photo shoot (I’m uploading the whole kit-n-kaboodle to Ravelry). I ended up with three large bags of yarn that will be donated to Warm The World. And, I found a knitting project that I had forgotten about:

This is (obviously) the Irish Hiking Scarf . I started it at least a year ago and then stuffed it into a yarn bin. When I found the scarf, I felt like it was my birthday. I’ve been thinking about knitting this pattern and now I can just jump right in and finish this scarf.

Fill in the blank: I really like ___________ because ____________.
I really like physical therapy because it’s given me my life back.
Finally, my girls.
Sam loves to sleep on her back (but only if she’s propped against the couch):

And Miss Kish, beating the heat with a bowl of ice cubes:

Me loves a good hiking scarf – btw – like your new web header and as always///dog pics – nothing like some good dog pics.
It is a beautiful scarf pattern! My Sam can only sleep on his back with help of some furniture to lean on as well, but Biko can do it all by herself, she’s “special”! ;o)
Isn’t it fun finding stuff? Love the hiking scarf so far! Sam and Kishka are so cute!
You know, Abner used to love ice cubes, now he won’t touch them since he’s become addicted to frosty paws. Apparently ice cubes jsut don’t have enough flavor for the king.
I love finding stuff too. Well, stuff that is nice. I hate finding something I’ve hidden away because I never want to see it again. LOL
My dog sleeps on her back too. Aren’t puppies funny?
LOL. I think I remember when you started that scarf!
(((hugs)))
