I have a second cloth on the needles, but haven’t photographed it. I’m also narrowing down a pattern for a new blanket and will hopefully cast that on in the next couple of days.
Yesterday was the monthly meeting of Warm The World and my drive took me right by the location of the Ft. Carson fire (for non local readers: the fire burned nearly 10,000 acres last week and took the life of a pilot who was helping to fight the fire).
I’ve only had Sadie for three weeks, but it feels like she’s been here forever. Her continued obsession with food (both mine and hers) has caused some changes in my kitchen.
The garbage can is now behind a child lock:
The dog bones are now secured with a bungee cord (note the teeth marks on the container):

She’s lucky she’s so cute. Ha, the teeth marks on the treat bin are too funny (for me, probably not for you).
Oh, Sadie love…it’s so hard to eat healthy and balanced meals, isn’t it? Poor thing. 😉
The pictures are great, but so sad, that a pilot lost his life. Poor Saddie too, it’s hard being on a diet.
Poor Sadie, diets are so terrible. Tell her it’s not a punishment, but an adventure. I just finished my first FO yesterday…a pair of socks! Ft. Carson? You are in Colorado!? I’m FROM Colorado, north of Greeley, just south of the Wyoming border…now in Peru.
I was wondering where that fire was. We were on vacation when it broke out, and never did hear more of it….being that we live in New York now, i guess the news folks here are not so interested in wonderful Colorado. OH well, their loss!

My Mom has me on a diet, too. She used to give me a snack every time I asked for one but now I have to wait until 5:00 at night for my supper, and I eat breakfast really really early. She doesn’t even give me treats anymore.
Awwh sweet Sadie your face makes the terrible fire pictures easier to stomach. Yeah on your FO! 🙂
