I’ve returned to work and reality has set back in but let’s revisit a wonderful day from my vacation.
One thing I love about winter is that I don’t have to worry about the dogs overheating. I can let them run themselves silly.
Sadie loves to eat snow.
While Luka loves to play in the icy water.
My goal for a day at the park is always the same: tired dogs. Snoring on the way home is a bonus.
After being cooped up in the house all week the dogs were ready to run this weekend.
Before we went to the park Luka was groomed and he was happy to show off his gorgeousness. (I gasped when I saw him. I hadn’t realized how unkempt he was looking.)
It was another successful trip.

Gorgeous photos! Love to see them every time. I don’t understand how the dogs can stand the icy cold water! Denny is always blowing bubbles and fishes out pieces of ice, than chews them, that he foams at the mouth.
Hello again. I haven’t read or commented much of late. We lost one of our rescued labs in August (cancer) and it hit us hard…kind of had to steer away from looking at dog pics for a while. We’ve since adopted another lab from a shelter and he and our remaining 10 year old lab are fast friends. Thanks for another year of wonderful pics and posts. All the best to you and your fab furry friends in 2012.
