Here are the new Cotton Ease colors!
I am thrilled that Lion Brand came to their senses and brought back this yarn, but I was hoping for better colors. This is a good start and I hope they build on this initial color palette.
Some of the old Cotton Ease colors were a bit garish for my taste, but I am sorry to see that they did not bring back the Bubble Gum pink and Sugarplum purple.
I love that Berry color, though.

I’m not thrilled with the colors either – they’re all sort of faded looking. I hope they add more!

This is another discontinued item that I discovered, like, the year before they gave it the ax! I made a really nice crocheted scarf with all different colored yarns and the stripes ran horizontally. Beautiful.
Oh… I hadn’t even stopped to realize that they didn’t bring back Sugarplum. If they would, I would buy oodles of it. It just happens to be an exact match for my very favoritist color ever.
Yay! Now I will be able to try it! 🙂 I like the colours.
I love muted colors, so these look great to me for my taste.

Yay! That acrylic cotton goodness is back! You’re right about the colors, though, they’re not very exciting. I did like cotton-ease because it didn’t pill as fast as other acrylic-cotton blends, and it was fairly cheap. I should get some and give it another try.
The choice of colors is enticing.
