* I used this pattern as a guide and used the following modifications:
- Used size 8 dpn’s
- Did not change needle size after the ribbing
- Only cast on 60 stitches
- Knit 6″ (not 7.5″) before the decreases

The colors on that hat are very patriotic. The Colorado skies and the doggies, beautiful as always.
