Life is the art of drawing without an eraser. ~ John W. Gardner

Spring is on its way to this part of the world and that means more time outside.

Sadie and Luka

The dogs and I went to the park this weekend. The main activity of the day was running.

There was running in the woods.

And running in the fields.

Both dogs enjoyed exploring.

I love the look on Sadie’s face in this picture.

And in this one.

Sadie

Luka continued his love affair with water.

Luka

At one point he became a bit obsessed with a tennis ball.

Where was Sadie while Luka was frolicking in the stream? She was catching a quick nap in the sunshine.

Sadie snoozes

All of the park activity led to Sadie’s second favorite pastime….holding down the couch.

Sometimes Luka helps Sadie hold down the couch.

Luka

Luka is clearly not as committed as Sadie is, though. He’s been busy making friends with his new brother. (Notice how Milo’s paw is ready to bat Luka if he gets too close.)

Luka & Milo

Speaking of Milo, I don’t believe I’ve adequately demonstrated just how adorable he can be.

Here’s something random I noticed the other night.

Comparing paw sizes

Sadie is not a dainty girl, but her paw is dwarfed by Luka’s paw.

Finally, some knitting…the current pair of socks.

  1. Oh, I just love the Milo pictures! He certainly fits in well with the dogs.

  2. I love your photos. Milo is very cute. Is it normal for a cat to be so relaxed? He’s handsome too!

Love the posts. Just got caught up on these and as always, it is wonderful to see the ‘family’. Adorable! How can they get cuter each time I see them?

  4. OMG…Red Tiger Kitty Belly!!!!!
Happy that Milo named himself, finally!

And I’m gotta say it: Luka’s face…is simply gorgeous (but then I’ve always loved the markings of “wolf-ish” doggies (my fav is German Shepherds, but Luka’s will do)
The socks are wonderful – spring and summer brilliants!
    (((hugs)))

  5. Great bright socks! I love all the outdoor shots, but am smitten with pictures of Milo.

  6. I love your furry family! These pictures made me smile. :o) love the socks too. Can’t wait to see the ones you make with the red blank.
