After a long streak of cold weather it was nearly summer-like over the weekend. The dogs and I took advantage of it and hit the dog park.
It was warm enough for me to kick back and take in the view.
The dogs ran themselves silly. Once they calmed down Luka found a tennis ball and kept himself amused for nearly half an hour.
At one point the ball went under the ice and Luka had to work to retrieve it.
He finally found it and jumped out of the stream.
And then he nearly poked his eye out.
Sadie did a bit of splashing in the water.
But at this point she was quite tired and ready to go home.
Luka finally tired himself out and fell asleep shortly after we’d left the park.
The recent cold weather has meant a lot of sleeping around here.
The cold weather has brought out the snugly side of Milo.
Finally, Romeo let me snap a picture of his gorgeous blue eyes.
The weather here is all wrong! Lovely pictures of your furries again. Romeo’s got really wonderful eyes. And Milo looks so snuggly warm, and comfy in that blanket, I’d like to join him for a nap.
I guess the “nearly” in “nearly summer like weather” explains the ice in the water. Brrrrr! I’m happy to see Romeo! He doesn’t get enough air time.
It was around 60, which is nearly summer for me. 🙂
Romeo is very camera shy. I always try to take his picture but they’re usually blurry.
Oh, good! I’d missed Romeo!!! Everyone looks to be enjoying themselves…
(((hugs)))
