You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough. ~ Mae West

Another weekend, another day of the dogs running around like fools.

Even though the water was icy it was irresistible.

All of this playing means a quiet ride home.

Interesting pillow, Luka.

There is knitting in the house!

A new pair of socks.

Sock

And a new….something. šŸ™‚ I broke my yarn diet to buy this yarn. It has a purpose though, and I have started swatching. Pictures will come later when the project has been started.

Wool

Finally…the answer to a question I sometimes get: “Why do you have such a huge sectional couch when you live alone?”

ETA: Many of the knitting blogs I read are hosted by Blogger. If you use Blogger please be aware that the word verification aspect of comments is not functioning. Even though I enter the correct phrase, Blogger says it’s wrong and won’t let me comment. I’m sure I’m not alone in this.

  1. Good to see some knits on your needles! Now if you could only find a place to sit with all those couch hogs šŸ™‚

  2. Good to know about the word verification. That stinks. I took it off once and got a bunch of spam. I had to be checking constantly and deleting weird crap. I hope it’s working now! Bummer.

Love those dog mugs. I think you might need to crochet a little afghan for that couch – heh heh. The sock colors are very pretty!

  3. Love your pups and the socks! I made a sweater out of the Fisherman’s wool. Wear it all the time!!

So wonderful to see the dogs, cats and socks (and yarn). Truly outstanding pictures that made me smile, laugh and wish there was a Sadie and Luka storybook. Thanks for sharing – love it!

  5. Snuggle bug! Love the dog tags. I’ll have to think about what my pets’ tags would read. Did you come across one that reads “PITA”? (Someone went a little hog wild on a houseplant while I was at work…)
