In all things of nature there is something of the marvelous. ~ Aristotle

Yesterday was the monthly meeting of Warm The World. You can read all about it here.

It was a gorgeous day for a drive. I saw Jordan:

I was almost home when a field of wildflowers caught my eye:

Since the great catastrophe of the felted bag, I’ve been licking my wounds with a variety of activities. Knitting on A Gem of a Blanket:

I’ve also been cleaning up a murder scene:

Making fun of Kishka, the lazy eater:

And taking pictures of Samantha:

  1. My dog does the same thing with his stuffed toys. He insists I help him though, I hold the toy while he rips it up. Then he gives me the squeaky when he gets it out.

  2. Ha ha! Kishka eats just like Mingus and she also murders her toys in the same manner. We place bets on how long new stuffy toys will last in this house.

I love the picture of the barbed wire against the backdrop of wildflowers, although I must admit that my eyes were itching just looking at all those flowers.

  3. At least she’s eating! I have to beg my own Pooch to eat a bite or two. I must say, I was very unconfortable with your fetal demise blanket. Such a pretty blanket, with such a noble purpose but such a horrible, horrible name… Please, if you’re knitting any more, like you probably will and I’m sure all those parents will thank you for it, would you consider naming it something less cryptic and a little more thoughtful? I don’t know, something like “angel in heaven” or something of the sort.

  4. LOL! That is quite the messy murder scene!

  5. Those dogs crack me up! Such beautiful pictures of a lovely day! 🙂

  6. Love this post with all it’s pictures and Kishka the clown! ;o) Thanks for sharing!

  7. So, was the murder victim the same character who was found in the compromising, and somewhat obscene, position a few weeks ago? Alas, I fear he was ill fated from the get-go. ;-Þ

Your pictures are beautiful, as always. I can’t get enough of your blue, blue sky, or your big furry babies. 😉

  8. Your picture of the barb wire with the flowers in the background is gorgeous!
